Gifts for Travelers with Soul!

December 14, 2009

Have you finished your holiday shopping? If you find yourself stuck,  we have a few ideas that might please you!

If you ever want to do ANY shopping at, please begin your shopping from our website. Just click on our Amazon link from our shopping page or follow this link before you put any items in your shopping cart.

That way, we get a percentage of the sale as commission, while the price of whatever you purchase remains the same to you. Isn't that a wonderful win-win opportunity? We really appreciate it so much when you do that! I know we are late getting this out as usual, but we don't seem to get into the holiday spirit until this time of year and we are notorious last minute shoppers.

All the photos in this post were taken in Europe in Germany, UK, Scandinavia, Spain etc, except the lead photo which is Mozart during our last Christmas at our home in California before we sold it for our open ended world tour.

If you have not looked at our shops, please do click on our shop link and you will see we have lots of great choices right here of  Soultravelers3 items from  T-shirts to photos from Cafe Press and Imagekind. If you ever see a specific photo that we have done on the blog, Flickr or any where, that you want, let us know, as we can make it available.

We also have most  fabulous national brands in almost every category through the online  National Geographic Store ( we'll be reviewing their fabulous "Complete National Geographic" soon) and REI store. We have done lots of reviews of books & products that we have used that might help with selections.

From very low priced stocking stuffers to high-end items, from educational items for kids to essentials for family travel or solo travelers, our list has something for everyone whether you travel or do it vicariously via arm chair travel. These are things we have loved!

You might also want to consider donating to one of the following:

Reach The World

This is a fantastic organization that we have worked with and seen first hand that does a great job of allowing disadvantaged school kids to travel the world virtually with travelers around the world! We really loved the kids and the truly dedicated folks who make this happen!

Passports With Purpose

This is the 2nd year for this travel bloggers charity that allows you to possibly win great prizes for just a 10 dollar donation! This year they are building a school in Cambodia for needy kids.  Between my very slow recovering  paralyzed arm and our late arrival in Spain, the timing just wasn't good for our full participation, so we had to pass. Unlike most travel bloggers we have been constantly traveling and homeshooling on the road since 2006 and there is only so much time in a day... but we can pass the word around!

" Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude." - Denis Waitley

"I awoke this morning with devout thanksgiving for my friends, the old and the new." - Emerson

"Christmas, my child, is love in action. Every time we love, every time we give, it's Christmas". - Dale Evans  Rogers

Happy Holidays to all of you no matter what or how you celebrate it! We are so grateful to all of you and think we have the best readers in the world! Thank you so much for coming along with us.
