PARIS WITH KIDS
Bringing the kids to Paris? For families considering a trip to Europe with children ( from toddlers to teens), the City of Lights is a fabulous choice, we highly recommend. Paris is often thought of as an adult destination, but it is perfect for families with no shortage of things to do and activities for children.
One of the best enchanting, educational and free things to do as a family in Paris, is just wandering about, enjoying this beautiful, very walkable city. The Metro subway system is easy, as are the buses and educational and entertaining themselves as you people watch, learn French basics, and grasp the underground Parisian culture on your way to different areas (arrondissements) around the city.
We've spent extensive time in Paris when our daughter was five ( she celebrated her 6th birthday in Paris...the first of a long trend of unusual birthdays on our 6 year non-stop family world trip) and again when she was 10 as it is a place we love and we will return again.
I've written many Paris stories like Madeline, Linea & d'Orsay, doing 3 Museums in a day , plus Giverny - Monet's Garden, Paris Chocolate & Arc de Triumph, and Sacre Couer & Montmarte from our Parisien visits.
HERE ARE SOME TIPS TO MAKE THE MOST OUT OF A TRIP TO PARIS WITH CHILDREN ON A BUDGET

Hi, I've just found you're blog and I will be visiting regularly! I am a single homeschooling mum in Australia and am planning to travel with my two young boys through Italy (and hopefully more of Europe if I can make the money work!) for six months next year.
I look forward to reading more about your time in Europe and getting ideas about what might work for us.
You have an amazing lifestyle! I wish you all the best.

Hi Michelle and thanks! So glad you found us and sorry it has taken me a while to answer you here.
We get so much email etc that it is hard to keep up with it all so I just go at my own pace and hope to not miss too many.
Otherwise I'd spend all my time on the blog and email instead of enjoying our life. ;)
You will have a fabulous time and there is a treasure trove of info on this blog that should help your planning.
