adorable restaurant in UNESCO area of Georgetown, Malaysia

Isn't this an adorable restaurant in an Asian funky kind of way? I must admit, I haven't tried the food yet at this little gem in the UNESCO area of Georgetown, Penang, but it always makes me smile when I walk by because it is so photogenic.

Just another look at our series of photos about life in Asia and typical Malaysia as we share our long term travel jouney with you. Here is a funny quote from a fave author about Chinese culture that made me laugh ( since we have a multilingual kid in a Mandarin school here):

" I find chopsticks frankly distressing. Am I alone in thinking it odd that a people ingenious enough to invent paper, gunpowder, kites and any number of other useful objects, and who have a noble history extending back 3000 years, haven't yet worked out that a pair of knitting needles is no way to capture food? - Bill Bryson

What's your favorite restaurant in Asia? We like this organic one here.
