China travel - ancient land of mystery- fortune teller and art candy

This photograph captures China travel and this ancient land of mystery which is a photographers dream with it's colorful diversity and a perfect place to world school a trilingual kid by immersing in Mandarin. After a  month vacation in China, I still smile when I look at all the stunning photos we have of this amazing country and want to share them with you.

We were thrilled to be able to go off the beaten track, get insider looks and do independent travel in China, thanks to our ( Good People) friend Winser at China Travel 2.0, allowing our child to go to the best school in Beijing,  having her as our translator in Mandarin to help us connect deeply, and the awesome people we met like at our homestay in Beijing.

Much to our suprise, out of the 45 countries on 5 continents that we have been to on our non-stop world trip these many years, China was one of our favorites. This photograph was taken at a water village near Shanghai where this man was doing fortune telling  and next to him a man making these unique, artistic candies. Only in China could I have taken this photo!

Is China on your bucket list?
