Love and Romance on the Road
February 13, 2014

Can you find love and romance on the road while traveling the world? Absolutely, if you happen to travel the world with your Beloveds. We sold our dream home in 2005 and have been traveling the world ever since and seem to find love and romance where ever we go.
"Love is the only gold." -Lord Alfred Tennyson
We find travel adventures just strengthens our marriage and all family relationships, so we got a kick out of this sign on a golf cart recently when we were hosted by the amazing Four Seasons Resort and Club at Las Colinas. ( More coming on that soon and our awesome arrival to Dallas on our Southwest road trip).
"To love is to receive a glimpse of heaven." -Karen Sunde
As we have many times on our world trip, we witnessed a beautiful wedding that day. and this cart was waiting to zp them off on the road of life. It reminded me again how brave we all are who commit to another person and how grateful I am for my marriage, life partner and the child we were blessed with.

"Life's greatest happiness is to be convinced we are loved." -Victor Hugo
I can't believe a free spirit like me managed to find true love and will celebrate our 23rd anniversary this year. Ever the romantic, I wish all of you more blessings of love on Valentine's Day and every day in any and all forms they come in.
"Love never gives up, never loses fath, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance" I Corinthians 13:17

Have you been to D.C. before?

I have been to DC abluepatronus and even lived near by when I was young so did LOTS of exploring in DC, but I haven't taken my family there yet on our world trip. It is on the list! ;)

Wow, 23 years is a long time. That's incredible! Congratulations!!!
I think it's great that you two travel together. I honestly can't imagine travel bloggers ever settling down unless with fellow travelers :-)

Aw, thanks so much Marcello! Compared to people married 50 or 60 years, it doesn't seem so long, but I suppose in our high-divorce rate society, it is something to be proud about. ;)
We are happy we found each other ...whether we are traveling the world or just staying at home as we did our first decade ( except for vacations).
