Yummy Paleo Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars Recipe
November 03, 2014
Tis the season for desserts? Something about these cooler days makes one yearn for something sweet and delicious. Here is Mozart's favorite treat that she made and we indulged in over Halloween, a paleo recipe that is gluten free, grain free and scrumptious.
Like all our super healthy dessert recipes, we like to keep things simple (like chocolate cake, banana bread, clafouti, ice cream with out machine , chocolate strawberries etc.).
Don't forget our healthy chips, paleo pizza, healthy soda pop, kefir, bone broth, DIY cheese, mayonnaise, lacto-fermented salsa, DIY shampoo and deodorant recipes from our prevent and cure cavities health
regime!
PALEO CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE BARS
INGREDIENTS:
2 1/2 cups almond flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/3 cup raw unheated honey
2 extra large eggs
1/4 cup cold pressed coconut oil melted
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 tablespoon raw milk or coconut milk or almond milk
3/4 cup of dairy-free, soy-free chocolate chips
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and lightly grease the bottom and side of a round or square baking pan with coconut oil.
In a mixing bowl mix together the dry ingredients.
In another bowl mix the wet ingredients. Use your hand or a hand mixer to mix well and then combine both the wet and dry ingredients and make sure they are mixed well before you fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the greased pan and gently press if needed.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the top is a golden color.
Cool for 10 -15 minutes before cutting bars.
Easy and and truly melt-in-your-mouth delicious! What is your favorite healthy dessert recipe?

Love the fact that there is minimal ingredients involved. Bonus awesome for being gluten-free. Plan to try these out over the holidays with my little ones :).
