Working on the Road:The Unconventional Guide to Full-Time Freedom by Nora Dunn & Chris Guillebeau
March 24, 2015
Who wants more freedom? Who likes to travel? Want to know how to travel the world on a low budget? Then don't miss our long-time colleagues Nora Dunn and Chris Guillebeau's latest book - "Working on the Road:The Unconventional Guide to Full-Time Freedom".
THE UNCONVENTIONAL GUIDE TO FULL-TIME FREEDOM
We're featured in this cool guide and give all our financial details on how and what we spend as we travel the world. As I have said many times about traveling cheap, I think it’s very important to understand that long term travel is not as expensive as most believe. We find it much cheaper than a conventional life.
This book shows how ANY one can do it easily if you want to and how to tweak it for YOUR life and needs.
HOW TO TRAVEL THE WORLD ON A SMALL BUDGET
We sold our home and most of our belongings in 2005 and have been traveling the world ever since and it was the best decision of our lives. This amazing guide gives you the keys even if you don't want to do full time travel for years like we did ( or if you do!).
FINANCIAL EXPERT TELLS ALL
Our friend Nora Dunn has been traveling full-time since 2006 and she is also a former financial planner, so an expert when it comes to money, thus the perfect person to write this. Not only do you get her wisdom, but also tips from more than a dozen other digital nomads in the guide.
The guide is available under the Unconventional Guides brand created by Chris Guillebeau. He is an amazing long-time friend of ours, a New York Times best-selling author, and we were case studies in his book, "The Art of Non-Conformity:Set Your Own Rules, Live the Life You Want, and Change the World".
Chris has awesome resources like the The Unconventional Guide to Travel on a Budget, Build Your Own Empire in 1 Year, Become a Freelance Writer: Get Published and Get Paid, Get Rich Slowly, Designed to Sell, and tons of great guides, courses, and fantastic Products and Services.
PRICE AND HOW TO BUY
Sound interesting? There are three different buying options, depending on the number of tools or resources you would like. Prices start at $49 and of course, there’s a money-back guarantee!
This guide is easy to understand and easy to read with each chapter summarized for clarification as well as many links to resources.
NEED A SHORT CUT PLAN TO FREEDOM?
So many people ask us HOW to plan a life of freedom and travel like ours. This guide is the perfect answer for those looking to create a location-independent lifestyle. Every person and family is different, so this helps you make YOUR plan.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR A LIFE ON THE ROAD
There is a lot of information about how to prepare for and plan for a life of independence while traveling. Why not take advantage of learning from people who have done this for years? Nora goes into great detail about her experience as well as hard earned tips from singles, couples and families who thrive on this lifestyle.
UNVARNISHED TRUTH
A very important section in the guide focuses on the problems and challenges that come with this lifestyle and how to prevent or solve these issues. Nora also provides checklists, budget templates and action steps which are invaluable. Why learn the hard way when this can guide can give you keys?
We highly recommend this guide which gives you all the information you need to create your own location independent and unconventional life!

Great review, and I'm sure it's an interesting read. It won't solve my personal problem, though, which is convincing your family that they want to travel. They all have their feet firmly planted in Vermont soil. It's still fun to read about your adventures, though.

Thanks so much Tara! Actually that is a common problem I think, but the guide shows you how to deal with such things. We would actually travel much more if it were sole up to me, so I understand what that is like. ;)
