6 Places to Celebrate Valentine's Day Around the World
February 02, 2016
Let's face it, travel is romantic, so what better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than a trip or getaway to a gorgeous place that will cater to your lovebird needs? Many hotels and resorts entice travelers with special Valentines amenities or you can just make your own. We love romance, so here are my recommendations based on our 10 years of non-stop world travel:
TAHITI
What can be better than Bora Bora or Moorea? Not much. You can even do it like we did and visit Tahiti on a cheap budget.
SANTA FE
Need a romantic getaway closer to home? Santa Fe is unlike any other American city, with it's rich history, beauty and magical mix of three diverse cultures; the Pueblo Indians, the Spanish and the “Anglos”.
BRUGGE or COLOGNE
If chocolate is on your mind, romantic Brugge has the best in Europe or visit the chocolate factory in Cologne.
KEY WEST
Another spectacular USA warm destination is Key West known for it's beautiful sunsets, pink shrimp and very romantic atmosphere.
PARIS
Without a doubt, Paris is for lovers as the City of Light is one of the most romantic cities in the world with amazing food, architecture and ambiance in every season. We celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary in Paris and it was perfect. Might have to return this year for our 25th!
VENICE
Many call "Venezia" THE most romantic city in the world. What can be more romantic than a gondola ride, fairytale canals and breath taking architecture? Even better, go early and you can do both Carnival and Valentine's Day in one trip!
So many more I could name, but these six should inspire you. Where is your fantasy place to celebrate Valentine's Day?

Good ideas, I think Tahiti would be great, never been there!
I'd have to add Copenhagen on that list, I found it to be very beautiful and it's a very happening city.
And Prague could work too. There's a hill on the eastern side of the city (I think) that overlooks the whole city. You can just sit there with a bottle of wine and enjoy the view in the quiet of the park.

Love Brugge. I think that this city should be on the top :)
Thank you for your list!
If I had to add a place, I add Freycinet, in the Eastern Tasmania. It has one of the Australia's most beautiful views.
