Award winning actress Heavenly Reyna just flew to NYC for the East Coast premiere of her movie 'The Greatest Ever'! Fun to see Heavenly in this inspirational film on the big screen & share the red carpet with director Steve Grimaldi & her co-stars Kelly Deadmon, Cate Elefante and Alexandra Bradley. Captivating Fame at a Deadly Cost & Glass Darkly actress Heavenly Reyna stars in this new film as pop star Rachel Waters where she belts out an amazing heart-touching song she helped write and produce! Her teen character is like Taylor Swift & she became the biggest pop star in the world with endless cultural impact. Later this month, on May 15th, 'The Greatest Ever' movie will play at the Cannes Film Festival in France ( Festival de Cannes).

"This movie is a great hit for families. I recommend buying not renting because the singing is so wonderful your kids will want to replay the movie over and over. The messages are uplifting and positive along with touching as a theme of living life before it is over is well developed in the story. For children dealing with loss and grief it will be a kind resource. Parents wanting to support their children's needs in finding activities and talents important to their growth in becoming an adult is also a theme and excels in being uplifting and encouraging to any child. Actually whether a child, teen, adult or elder this movie is 5 stars in addressing why you deserve to become who you are becoming, all parts, as time is precious with your family and friends and YOU deserve to be you. There are many other good messages. Buy it. You won't be disappointed when looking for a feel good, tender, family movie. Also be totally impressed with a good case of chills when you hear Heavenly Reyna's singing as grownup Rachel Waters."

Singers & actresses Heavenly Reyna and 12 year old Cate Elefante both play Rachel Waters in this movie.Cate plays the child/tween growing years & Heavenly the teen pop star similar to Taylor Swift. Both are wonderful actresses and singers! They cast Heavenly first & then found the right person to play her younger years. Interestingly, they are both born in September and both have often been compared to a younger version of Amanda Seyfried!!

Towards the end of the movie, after a Stephen Colbert with Taylor Swift type inspiring interview, Heavenly Reyna gives everyone chills and tears with her knock out, heart-wrenching pop song performance of 'Part of Me'! Just before that Cate sings 'One Day' , also very moving in a more Broadway style & her parents helped write. Cate was on Broadway at 5 in Waitress The Musical, but this was her first movie lead role.

Not too surprising I suppose that this pioneer digital nomad kid can work from her living room in LA or anywhere in the world doing twitch streams and audition self tapes as needed. She even had a big audition that she did a self tape for from her hotel in NYC!! Most her age are still living at home or in college dorms.
Heavenly has always loved NYC (where I lived for many years) and we have traveled there many times starting when she was 5...
.... and we met adorable disadvantaged kids at a Harlem school that we took with us around the world virtually. Heavenly took over my speech presentation and played the violin for them!
She was also lucky enough to have a wonderful NYC Halloween & thrilling visit there thanks to our Conde Nast traveler icon friend Wendy Perrin & beautiful family when she was 8.
I once won tickets to a Broadway hit for her to see Wicked!
She loved it when she was the youngest reporter at NY Fashion week at 13 & from runways, red carpets and front row seats to limos, backstage access and VIP status to hanging with Vogue's editor and fashion Queen Anna Wintour and celebs like tennis star Serena Williams and more. Oh my!
We hoped that she learned early that there are no limits in life & how to make the most out of this gift of life. She adapted quickly to the NYC fast pace of taxi's, limos, subways and walking NYC as we stayed in Brooklyn that time.
Later at 15 when she flew with a friend and sang at Carnegie Hall with her famous, esteemed NCC choir.
Wow! What a Life!!
And they took the boat to see the Stature of Liberty! This was her first trip without us parents ( her friends mom was with them).
But this was her first time visiting NYC as a single young solo female traveler! She had a blast visiting many of her favorite museums, seeing shows, visiting friends, shops, bookstores etc as well as walking the red carpet. She is a super talented photographer too, so enjoyed doing that as she roamed the streets and museums.

Next Stop for her movie "The Greatest Ever"... CANNES!! Their screening is May 16th at 1:30pm in Palais B. We are in Barcelona at the beach which is only about a five hour drive away. Should we bop over to France and the Cannes Festival to watch our daughter Heavenly Reyna on the big screen? Not sure if we can squeeze that in as we are busy house hunting in Spain, but it a tempting idea! We bought it so maybe we will just watch it again on Amazon Prime. How about you?
