Europe's rustic old world charm

Do you love the rustic old world charm of Europe? As we traveled the Romantic Road in Germany, we discovered castles and festivals and half-timbered buildings plus much more, but some how this old building caught our eye.

Funny how one can find beauty anywhere and everywhere, huh?  If it could talk, I bet this house would have many interesting tales to tell. I love it how the old world charm of doors and windows and small villages etc all around Europe, inspired us and touched our hearts.

Thus, three quotes to ponder this weekend:

"The love of beauty in its multiple forms is the noblest gift of the human cerebrum. "  Alexis Carrel

"Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it." Confucius

"Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not." Emerson

Where have you found beauty that surprised you?

Gazing at the beauty and simplicity of the old structures in Europe reminds me of how many have gone before me and how my time here is limited. I better make the most of it.
