Mozart Dee's Music Video "Ignite" Premieres at Chinese Theatre in Dances With Films Festival!
June 10, 2016

Award winning actress and teen singer Mozart Dee will have her big screen world premiere of her Music Video "Ignite" at the famous, historic Chinese Theatre in Hollywood at the prestigious Dances With Films Festival.
"Ignite" was selected out of thousands of submissions and she not only wrote the song and sings/stars in the video but she also directed, cast, styled, edited and produced it at just 14 years old on a $0 budget with a camera sent from out of the country from a fan!

The film will screen at 3pm this Saturday June 11th and she is so honored to be part of this amazing festival with great films and wonderful panels. This was her first video and it has already won 3 film festival awards! Such an exciting time as she just returned from singing at Carnegie Hall in NYC and she just won "Best Actress" for a film she starred in called "Rose".

Is it a bit ironic that a child who is fluent in Mandarin and spent years in Asia learning it, has her first premiere in Los Angeles be at the historic Chinese theater on the walk of fame?

Mozart certainly had a lot of fun on the red carpet...which was actually green.

It's not her first time on the red carpet or in Getty Images, as she was chosen as the youngest reporter at NYC Fashion Week when she was 13.

She has been on TV many times too through our world travels, so she is a natural and perfectly at home on stage, in front of or behind the camera, or talking to reporters.
It's really one of the best run film festivals around with rave reviews in CNN to LA Times and going strong for 19 years.
Our Muzic by Mozart Youtube channel, which had our very first video go viral when she was 5, ("Where in Heaven is Mozart") has been a training ground for her for the last 10 years as we traveled the world, (unknown to us until recently).
But hanging out in the filmmakers lounge is a brand new VIP experience for 15 year old Mozart.
As is going to a big Hollywood opening party and chilling with these guys.
The panels were a fantastic education and chance to get hard questions asked to top casting directors, producers and directors in Los Angeles.
We were totally impressed with the founders Michael Trent ( shown above) and Leslee Scallon who were wise, talented, open hearted people.

Mozart has been working on a radio show every week for teens called Journals Network and they happened to have one of the movies producers, directors and stars there as guests just before it started. So her fellow panelists and host Louise Palanker all went to that show together.

So that made it an extra fun start as well as these young girls who came running up to Mozart as we came opening night as they loved her song. It happens that one of them is the daughter of Leslee Scallon and then Mozart found out she is also in Mozart's choir. Small world!

It's been an exhausting, exhilarating, inspiring week. If you are in LA , don't miss this great festival!
