Square in Beijing? We
Can one go to China and not see Tiananmen Square in Beijing? We didn’t think so, although the first time we tried, it was closed to the public because we arrived when the once-every- ten- years government change was going on and much was under more rigid restrictions.
Luckily we returned with her Mandarin immersion school as a field trip and got a private tour and insider perspective from locals who live here. My sweet friend Winser from China Travel 2.0 was one of our guides.
