Do you love the exquisite architecture in Europe, like the gorgeous art nouveau, art deco La Samaritaine? Exploring and photographing beautiful world architecture in its various forms world-wide has been one of the great pleasures of our 7 year family trip around the world.
This much loved, opulent, shopping shrine or “grand magasins” sits on the Seine close to both the Louvre and Notre Dame. It’s been closed since 2005, but they say it will reopen in 2014, so we look forward to being able to see the inside soon and that incredible Paris view from the roof top!
What architecture has deligted you on your travels?

I’m amazed with Marina Bay Sands Hotel, a modern-day architecture here in Singapore. As I continue my journey, I’d like to see more of the old and new building designs. Europe is full of beautiful and historic architectures.
There really are so many wonderful architecture eye-candy around our planet, Noel, happy you are enjoying them too.
Oh yeah, Europe is a lot of fun for architecture fans! You will love it. 😉
